With rejuvenated staff and an inspiring office space the focus quickly fell onto Laithwaites Theale wine shop. The existing interior was tired and needed a new lease of life, along with the much-anticipated brand refresh. We were tasked with creating a multifunction space that would at its heart be a wine shop.
The space was designed in 4 distinct zones that could easily work together as a whole.
The altar as it came to be known is the anchor point within the space, its primary function as a customer help/ pay point and packing area. The space equally lends itself to be used by the team to come together to work and present from.
The consultation area would be used as a more relaxed space to discuss customer events and weddings. With an integrated screen staff can navigate the website as easily as connecting directly to a vineyards.
The shop now allows customers the space to stop a while and peruse new wines rather than just rushing in to collect wine through its click and collect service.
The last crucial space was an exclusive wine tasting room for private events which would also be used by Laithwaites own tasters on a day-to-day basis. This space was designed to be opened up to the shop or closed down for more privacy.
